Today, I go hands-on with the "red metal?version of the popular Casio G-Shock GMWB5000 fake watch collection known as the GMWB5000RD-4 (aBlogtoWatch debut with more product info). The case is 43.2mm-wide by 12.9mm-thick and has a lug-to-lug distance of 49.6mm. The fake watch weighs 73 grams, but if you really want to go lightweight, then consider the titanium version (though it is nearly three times as expensive).
Casio uses a black "negative?LCD screen, which has a modern backlight and is legible in direct sunlight. What makes the GMWB5000RD-4 fake watch special is the coloring of the case ?ion-plated with an iridescent red color. The shade of color goes from maroon red to purple, depending on the light. It is a very auspicious tone and it draws attention without seeming brazen or showy. There are plenty of G-Shocks out there for people who don't like some attention on their wrist, but this particular colorful flavor works because it is both masculine and a bit flamboyant at the same time.
